We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 78, Robert Stringer of Sterling, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Robert's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenny (Bonnie) and Bonnie; and his brother Curt Stringer (Sally). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Tami Stringer (Jeff Wilson) and Jaime Hawkins (Brian); and his granddaughters, Claire, Carlee and Jovee.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 21051 Moline Rd, Sterling, IL 61081.
A memorial fund has been established with the Sauk Valley Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited to provide lifetime hunting and fishing licenses for local youth. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take time to head outside - toss a line in, enjoy a campfire, or watch the sunset — and think of Bob.
