He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Brosdal and Florence Brosdal (Ultican). He is survived by: his wife Lorelei Olson; his children, Amy Westman of Superior, WI and Jeff Brosdal of Glen Ellyn, IL; his grandchildren, Zach Brosdal, Christian Grimaldi, Malena Brosdal and Cecelia Brosdal; and his siblings, Ron Brosdal of Proctor, MN, Jeanne Rychlak of Duluth, MN and Cheryl Brunner of Anoka, MN..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Roy's honor to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
