He is survived by: his mother Ann Bittner (Etheridge) of Sterling; his children, Wes Bittner of Rock Falls, Zak Bittner (EmmaLea) of Maricopa, AZ and Rachel Bittner (Athan Mireles) of Rock Falls; his siblings, Timothy Bittner of Rock Falls, Thomas of Sterling, Tye Bittner of Sterling and Tricia Cook (Kevin) of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Isabel and Iva Bittner.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
