He was predeceased by : his former life partner Elaine Richter; his daughters, Tracey and Anna Hussung; his siblings, Francis, Edwin Hussung and Karen Roberts; and his stepdaughter-in-law Rachel Clark.

He is survived by : his wife Theresa Carl; his son Sam Hussung (Debbie); his stepsons, Brent Clark, Nathan Clark (Amanda) and Evan Clark (Marie); and his brothers, Harold Hussung (Joan) and Jim Hussung (Bonnie). He is also survived by four grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Science Ridge Cemetery (1702 E 37th St, Sterling, IL 61084).
