It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yorel Evan Diedrich of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on October 30, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Wojton; and his sister Patricia Ruhl. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hoye (Nichols); his children, Evan Diedrich (Diane), Sharon Kratwell (John), John Hoye, Linda Caras, Maria Hoye, Karen Morgan (Noval), Patricia Hoye, Jacqueline Lopez and Phyllis Hoye; and his brothers, James Richardson (Dee) and Paul Wojton (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in his memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
