With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary A. Brummerstedt of Stewardson, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Brummerstedt and Geraldine Brummerstedt (Falk); and his brother-in-law Leon Vonderheide. He is survived by : his children, Greg of Effingham, Judy of Effingham, Stacia of Effingham and Angela Brummerstedt of Effingham; his grandchildren, Michael and Kennedy Brummerstedt; his nephews, Tracy Vonderheide of Shumway and Spencer Vonderheide of Fresno; his niece Geannine Kessler of Shumway; and his sister Shary.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Stewardson Cemetery (2700 E, Stewardson, IL 62463).
