He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Mingus and Bessie Mingus (Houchin); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Libotte, David Beals, Larry Beals and Gary Beals.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Mingus of Stewardson; his children, Cindy Foreman (David) of Dieterich, Ronald Mingus of Stewardson and Diana Day (Dewayne) of Strasburg; his grandchildren, Brittany Mette (Adam) of Newton, Ashley Foreman (Ryan Schellhorn) of O'Fallon, MO and Dennis Day (Jeanna) of Effingham; his great grandchildren, Abby Mette, Bostyn Mette and Andrew Day; his sister Leanette Libotte of Washington; his stepbrother Lester Letner of Branson, MO; his siblings-in-law, Rayleen Beals of Stewardson, Maxine Kaufman (Louie) of Stewardson, Charlie Beals of Mattoon and Jackie Beals of Wichita Falls, TX; and his pet Nubb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wilbur Braughton American Legion Post 611 and mailed to Brummerstedt Funeral Home, 302 W. Main St., Shelbyville, IL 62565.
