He is survived by: his parents, Steven Schmidt and April Ulmer; his brother Bryce Ulmer; his grandparents, Phylis Thomas, Bob and Kathey Gray; his aunts and uncles, Garrett Ulmer (Jamie), Harley Gray (Stacy), Hunter Gray (Faith), Mel Gray (Amy), Steve Gray and Rob Quast (Sarah); his grandfather Steve Ulmer; and his great-grandparent Beulah "Mimi" Ulmer. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family to assist with final expenses.
