He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomasa Carrillo and Andres Carrillo; his son Gustavo Carrillo Jr.; and his siblings, Everardo (Josefina), Ramiro (Altagracia), Ricardo (late Maria), Rosendo (Consuelo), Ausalon and Graciela (Ramon).
He is survived by: his wife Maria Luisa; his children, Gerardo Carrillo (Lucero), Marisela Carrillo-Aldrete (Raul), Jose Alonso Carrillo (Sandy) and Carlos Carrillo (Lynda); his grandchildren, Carlos Jr., Enrique, Lilliana, Gabriel, Sofia, Sara and Alejandro; his great grandchildren, Caden, Eliana, Camilla and Cole; his siblings, Enriqueta (late Jesus), Leonor, Sister Belen, Manuela (Daniel), Guadalupe (Mariquita) and Mariquita (Merced); Felicitos (late Enriqueta). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
