We announce the death of Irene Walta Gingrich (Stickney, Illinois), who passed away on June 23, 2026. Irene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walta and Amelia Walta (Mundil); her husband Carl Gingrich of Lebanon; and her siblings, Paul Walta and Helen Johnson (Walta).

She is survived by: her brother Joe Walta (Joyce); her sons, Dave Gingrich (Doreen), Dan Gingrich (Mary) and Duane Gingrich (Janet); her grandchildren, Julie Clay (Tony), Matt Gingrich (Jennifer), Michelle Phillips (Kevin), Dawn Gingrich, Mark Gingrich (Sarah), John Gingrich (Amanda) and Sarah Cameron; and her great grandchildren, Kara Gingrich, Noah Gingrich, Chase Cameron, Ally Clay, Luke Cameron, Asher Gingrich, Benjamin Gingrich, Isaac Gingrich and Clara Gingrich.
