With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harvey McGivney of Stockton, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vincent and Linnie Martha McGivney (Downs); his son Joseph McGivney; and his son-in-law Chad Charnas. He is survived by: his wife Judy Wand of Stockton; his children, Linda Sue McGivney of Kenosha, WI, Marcia Hammer (Randy) of Pearl City, IL, Monica Wentz (Michael) of Waukesha, WI, Jim McGivney (Monica) of Apple River, IL, Melanie Charnas of Leander, TX and Beth Armstrong (Adam) of Rochester, MN; and his daughter-in-law Sue McGivney of Apple River, IL. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
