He is survived by: his cousin Robert Speer; his wife Mildred; his son Ben; his daughter-in-law Danyel; and his grandchildren, Izabella, Cody and Camren. He is also survived by many family members, including stepchildren, step grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodbine Bend Golf Course (3500 E Center Rd, Stockton, IL 61085).
A memorial fund has been established in Jim's name.
