She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Heidenreich and Margaret Heidenreich (Farley); her husband LaVerne Willis; her daughter Marcella Portner; her grandchildren, Austin and Chloe; and her sisters, Lois Haithcock and Ramona Salamone.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Miller (Kevin), Julie Romaine and Kimball Willis (Sandy Staas); her grandchildren, Jessica, Caleb (Esther), Sara, Elizabeth, Avri, Rachel (Jacob), Micaela, Joshua, Jaime, Lydia, Landon, Tiffani and Maggie; and her siblings, Virgina and Max (Pat). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
