As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Williams and Mabel Williams (Scholl); his spouse Delma Atz; and his brother Glenn Williams. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Bartlett, Bill Williams (Pamela) and Thomas Williams (Jill). He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home (241 N Park St, Stockton, IL 61085). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
