He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, August Hamme and Madeleine Van Hamme; his wife Jane Van Hamme (Mitchell); his children, Erica Wagner Castile Rock (Jared) and Alex Van Hamme; his stepchildren, Michelle Carroll of Glendale, AZ and Jacob Carroll (Minh); his grandchildren, Warren Carroll, Grayson Wagner and Lennon Wagner; and his siblings, Lillian Townsend (Gary) of Stockton, IL., Cindy Sigafus Monroe (Tom) and Tim Van Hamme.

In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund will be established.
