He was predeceased by: his parents, William Olen and Catherine Howard (Calhoun); his wife Ruth Hayes; and his brother Bill Howard. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Hershey of Springfield, Missouri, Rhonda Hicks of Springfield, Missouri and Steven Howard of Carrier Mills; and his siblings, John Howard (Wendy) of Carrier Mills, David Howard (Debbie) of Ft. Smith and Marjorie Dunning of Bradwood, Illinois.. He is also survived by his children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
