He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Glen and Hazel Forbes (Trexler). He is survived by: his wife Charlene Forbes of Stonington; his children, Adriann Gaither of Blue Mound and David Forbes of Harristown; his grandchildren, Camille Gaither, Dawnyelle Forbes and Amy Larkin; his sister-in-law Cynthia McChristy of Stonington; and his pet Rosie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services (302 W Poplar St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the Stonington United Methodist Church or Christian County Animal Control.
