David P. Boyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 22, 2026, at the age of 78, David P. Boyer of Strasburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul G. Boyer and Elizabeth Marie Boyer (Duling); and his siblings, Bill Boyer, John Boyer, Paula Jones and Joseph Boyer.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Elaine Rentfro; his children, Phillip Boyer (Carly) of Strasburg, IL and Jodie Quast (Doug) of Strasburg, IL; his sisters, Nancy Boyer of Strasburg, IL, Sue McIntyre (Gene) of North Carolina, Lynn Huber (Jacque) of Florida, Marilee Piot (Jim) of Texas and Julia Bryan (Pat) of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Baylee, Lexi, Camden and Casen. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Wilbur Braughton American Legion Post #611 of Stewardson, IL.
