We announce the death of Zona Gail Doty of Strasburg, Illinois, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 93. Zona will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Webner and Ruth Webner (Culver); her husband Bernard F. Doty; her son Steve Doty; her brother Robert; and her sister-in-law Janet Webner.
She is survived by: her son Randy Doty (Dawn) of Windsor, IL; her daughter-in-law Marcia Doty of Lafayette, IN; her siblings, Wanda Joy Kastl (George) of Decatur, IL and John Dale Webner (Margaret) of Strasburg, IL; her grandchildren, Stephanie Daugherty (Mike), Michael Doty (Tara), Elizabeth Short (Brian) and Elizsha Hardy (Tim); her great grandchildren, Madelyn Rothenberger (Jacob), Mathew Daugherty (Zoey), Mason Daugherty (Josie), Dylan Doty (Kaitlyn), Tatum Doty, Dawson Doty (Natsuki Hata), Brock Short, Brianne Short, Malyah Darnell and Callaway Darnell; her stepgreat-grandsons, Aiden Hardy and Liam Hardy; and her great great grandchild Lula Jean Daugherty.
Memorials may be given to the Strasburg Community Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
