With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary P. Vogt of Streamwood, Illinois, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gary departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gary. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Holly Thompson-Vogt; his daughters, Shannon Heckman (Rob) and Taryn Vogt; his brother Alan Vogt (Diane); the mother of his children Kim Vogt; and his grandsons, Jacob and Andrew Heckman.
