In loving memory of Barbara E. Malley of Streator, Illinois, who departed this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 74. Barbara leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father George Pleasant; and her husband Michael Malley. She is survived by: her mother Eda "Eileen" Pleasant-Gerlach (Tucker) of Streator; her stepchildren, Marla Turner (Wayne) of Montross, Virginia, Melanie Riordan (Jim) of Streator, Michael Malley (Janet) of Streator and Daniel Malley of Streator; her sisters, Jane Kunkel (Alan) of Kennesaw, Georgia and Debbie Kennedy (Steven) of Spring, Texas; her stepgrandchildren, Dustin Turner, Shelbey Rainey (Austin), Elizabeth Ruiz (Abel), Allie Bonds (Mitchell), Amber Malley, Joshua Malley and Madison Malley; and her siblings' children, Matthew Kunkel (Courtney) of Powder Springs, Georgia, Lynn Kunkel of Kennesaw, Joshua Kennedy (Kimberly) of Spring and Nathan Kennedy (Maci) of Conroe, Texas. She is also survived by 5 step-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church (407 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
