Catherine Hansen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Hansen of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ancel Sapp and Ople Sapp (Ferguson); and her spouse Glenn "Barney" Hansen Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Kress of Streator, Kimberly Hansen-Wilson (Diana) of Erwin, NC, Cherie Kling (Richard) of Ransom and Rick Hansen (Lisa) of Pontiac; her grandchildren, John Hansen, Tonya Carter (Derek), Kathleen Staton, Julia Norton, Mason Kling (Allison), Dylan Kling (Trisha) and Ashton Kling; her great grandchildren, Nolan Hansen, Mara Hansen, Daxton Carter, Makayla Deland (Josh), Isabella Staton and Benjamin Kling; her great great grandchildren, Layton, Haisley and Adalee Deland; and her siblings, Karen Devito of Triangle, VA and Ronald Sapp of Missouri. She is also survived by her family and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
