She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Simonson and Helen Simonson (Mattes). She is survived by: her husband John Swanson of Streator; her stepchildren, Katie Swanson of Streator, Doug Swanson (Sheila) of Rockford and Ted Swanson (Ashley) of Bloomington; and her siblings, Laurie Cunniff of Ottawa and Curtis Simonson (Chris) of Pittsfield. She is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren; 3 step- great grandchildren.
