He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Risley and Emma Risley (Reick); his wife Marilyn Wagner; his son Daniel Risley; and his sister Lois Risley.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Risley (Carol) of Streator, Jerry Risley (Lynn) of Streator, Bill Risley (Bonnie) of Gilbert, AZ, Tom Holcomb (Lisa) of Bradenton, FL, Elizabeth Tomasello of Las Vegan, NV and Nancy Clark (Wayne) of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
