Donald Lechner Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Donald Lechner of Streator, Illinois. Donald, born on March 30, 1931, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Lechner and Louise Lechner (Schmitz); and his siblings, Elaine Lukach, Norbert, Dean and Danny Lechner.
He is survived by: his children, LuAnn Shields (Dan) of Darien, John Lechner (Connie) of Darien, Joan Adams (Donald) of Normal, Paula Park (Jeff) of Darien, Michael Lechner (Ruth) of Streator and Laura Webb (Robert). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home (301 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (205 Lundy St, Streator, IL 61364).
