He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Studnicki and Anna Studnicki; his siblings, Anthony, Edward, Joseph, Theodore, Raymond and Josephine Metzger; and his son David Studnicki (Joan).

He is survived by: his wife Dolores Besserman (Streator); his children, Gary Studnicki (Streator), Bruce Studnicki of Bloomington, IL and Julie Munie (Mike) of North Augusta, SC; his daughter-in-law Joan Studnicki (Streator); his brother Henry Studnicki (Dolores) of Wood River, IL; and his grandchildren, Sarah Dukes (Matt) of Marquette Heights, IL, Susan Studnicki (Streator), Adam Studnicki (Streator), Michael Studnicki of Clinton, IL, Monica Brooks (Joel) of Washburn, IL, Megan DeMoss (Streator), Nathan Studnicki (Streator), Amanda Studnicki of Gainsville, FL, Jessica Munie of Atlanta, GA and Stephanie Munie of North Augusta, SC. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Streator Salvation Army.
