He was predeceased by : his mother Margaret Spangler (Yuhas); and his brothers, Charles, James and John. He is survived by : his father Jerry Spangler; his wife Deborah Spangler of Streator; his sons, Trace Spangler (Kelsey) of Streator and Seth Spangler (Lexi) of Streator; his granddaughters, Natalie and Riley Spangler; and his brother David Spangler.
