He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Taylor and Helen S. Taylor (Hansen); his daughter Kim Sphar; his great grandchild Adalejda; and his siblings, Joanne Behrens, Alice Flowers and Bernard Haughtigan.
He is survived by: his children, James F. Taylor (Diane) of Streator, Matthew A. Taylor (Elizabeth Schnindler) of Peoria and Tara L. Taylor (Shane Putman) of Streator; his grandchildren, Lainee, James Jr., Abbigale, Kylie, Robert, James, Michael, Justin, Stephanie and Dylan; and his siblings, Marlene Simpson of Streator, Robert Haughtigan (Eileen) of Streator and Kenneth Taylor (Patricia) of Streator. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
