John Harcar Obituary

We bid farewell to John Harcar of Streator, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 17, 2025 at the age of 74. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony "Tony" Harcar and Bernadine Harcar (Seipp); and his siblings, Beverly Fialko (Don), Carol Bucalo (Sam), Patricia Starkey, Mary Poldek, Tony Harcar (Marge), Mark Harcar, Dale Harcar, David Harcar, Donald Harcar, Gene Harcar (Diane) and Robert Harcar (JoAnn).

He is survived by: his daughter Tina Cox (Mark) of Paris, IL; his grandchildren, Blake Winningham of Carmel, IN., Brittany Parsley of Marshall, IL., Levi Cox (Malary) of Paris and Zach Cox (Brittany) of Charleston, IL.; his great grandchildren, Lexi Parsley, Emmett Parsley, Kylee Cox and Kamryn Cox; his siblings, Sue Morgan of Streator, LuAnn Hoarty (Jim) of Streator, Danny Harcar of Streator and Steve Harcar (Chris) of Streator; and his brother-in-law Larry "Chico" Poldek of Streator. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
