It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Holocker of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Holocker and Viola Holocker (Watson); his siblings, Vernon, William, Earl, Helen Wilkerson, Eleanor Stansbery, Sherryl Taylor, Dora and Muriel Holocker; and his sons-in-law, Robert A. Soule Jr. and Michael P. Palko.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Megan Decker (Kyle), Jennifer Richardson (Steven), Phillip Angelico (Morgan Belcher), Molli Donahue (Aaron), Jami Hanafin (Clint), Jared Weiss, Adam Chismar (Amanda), Logan Chismar, Cody Goubeaux, Hannah Novotney, Jacob Holocker (Taylor) and Marleigh Holocker; and his great grandchildren, Calla, Boden, Lydia, Luke, Kaybri, Kenzy, Maia, Kealy, Coleman, Layke, Jayce, Bentley and Lonni.
