He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Werner and Vera E. Werner (Eckhart) of Livingston County; his brother Richard "Dick" Werner; his cousins, Judy Heiken, Vince and Luceille Werner; and his great-great-grandparent Johann Frederick Werner.
He is survived by: his cousins, Larry, Robert Aschinger, Linda Lueders, Sandy Hatzer, Carol Siebel, Phillip and John Werner.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home (205 High St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at the Clayton Township Cemetery.
