He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Velazquez and Luz Maria Velazquez (Figueroa). He is survived by: his sister Carmen Velazquez of New York; and his close friend Hector Cotts. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home (305 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home (305 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364).
