She was predeceased by: her mother Myrtle Waugus; and her husband Rudolph "Rudy" Basina. She is survived by: her children, Derek Basina (Cathy) of Streator, Sheldon Basina of Albuquerque and Hilary Basina of Milwaukee; and her grandchildren, Madelyn, Lillyan, Owen, Jeremiah and Braelynne.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home (301 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
