She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Amell and Lois Amell (Schroeder); her husband Paul DeFrees; and her son-in-law Ron Pohlod. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Pohlod of Streator and Paula DeFrees (Deborah Ekborg) of Rancho Mirage, California; her grandchildren, Lexi Pohlod and Casey Danko; her brother Barry Amell of Manville; and her grandchildren, Louie and Gus.
