He is survived by: his children, Christine Sims of Streator, Richard Sims (Candice) of Burbank, Jeffrey Sims (Julie) of Evergreen Park, John Sims of Streator, Brian Sims (Lyn) of Streator and Michael Sims (Audra Krant) of Palos Hills; his grandchildren, David Sims (Taylor), Tyler Dean, Kailey Sims, Jeremy Sims, Joshua Sims, Trevor Martin, Mary Martin, Brian Sims Jr., Robert Sims and Olivija Sims; and his great grandchildren, Isaac Sims and Lilliana Sims.
