With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Armstrong of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary Lou had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mary Lou may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Mary Goralczyk Sr. (Wightman); and her siblings, John Goralczyk, Joann Cobb and Annette Dzursin.
She is survived by: her sister June Koch (Bob) of Lockport; her close friend Peggy Libby; and her pet Gracie Mae. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
