He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bud" Burkett and Christine Burkett (Guy). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Christine, Charlotte and Zane; his siblings, Robert Burkett (Kathy) of Tennessee, Diana Hallam (Dave) of Streator, Scott of Streator and Jody Burkett of Streator; and his pet Cutie Pie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
