With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Noreen A. Wheeler of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on August 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peruba and Matilda Peruba (Negray); her brother Jack; and her sister-in-law Nancy Peruba. She is survived by: her husband Richard M. "Dick" Wheeler of Streator; her children, Gary Wheeler (Cindy) of Streator and Cathy Schmidt (Eric) of Shreve, Ohio; and her brother Denny Peruba (Joan) of Ottawa. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Because of Mom's love for gardening, the family asks that memorials be made to the Streator Garden Club or the Monarch Mission.
