Phyllis A. Canale Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis A. Canale of Streator, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank H. Hagi and Ida Hoffman (Geheber); her husband Frank J. Canale; her siblings, Helen Morris (Bill) and Robert Hagi (Linda); her brother-in-law James "Tim" Donovan; and her son-in-law Thomas Crawford.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Crawford of Streator and Thomas Canale of Streator; her grandchildren, Carrie Harcar (Ron) of Streator, Jennifer Kestner (Tony) of Streator and Tom "TJ" Crawford (Melissa) of Streator; her great grandchildren, Ashlee Cravatta (Chris), Jake, Kaylee Harcar, Payton Crawford, Drake Crawford (Hallie), Cole, Madilynn and Emily Kestner; her great great grandchildren, Mary Kay, Ayla Phillips, Case and Colbie Cravatta; and her siblings, Betty Donovan of Dwight and Joe Hoffman (Anita) of Marseilles.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home (205 High St, Streator, IL 61364). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
