The memory of Ralph Edwin Nicklin of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond, Sr. Nicklin and Anne Nicklin (Galik); his wife Dorothy Hasenkamper; his brothers, Raymond, Jr. and Fredrick (Fritz); his sister-in-law Mary Lou Nicklin; and his sister Marge Balke.
He is survived by: his brother Dan Nicklin (Mary) of Aviston, Illinois; his sister-in-law Sue Nicklin of Streator; his godchildren, Renee Warnement (Al) and Bob Simons (Eris); and his Grand godchildren Carson, Mallory Trenor, Shae, and Brezdyn Simons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home (305 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (1541 E 16th Rd, Streator, IL 61364).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or to the family of Ralph Nicklin.
