He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeBlock and Mary DeBlock (Standaert); his wife Marit Wangelin of Joseph's Catholic Church; and his sisters, Donna Junis, Francis Sleaford and Dolores Siemers.

He is survived by: his sons, Alan DeBlock (Mary Eggleston) of Troy, IL and Michael DeBlock (Mary Dzurisin) of Batavia, IL; his grandchildren, Jennifer DeBlock of Edwardsville, IL, Jillian Thole (Scott) of Breese, IL, Julie DeBlock of Highland, IL, Father Matthew DeBlock of Batavia, IL, Mark DeBlock (Kristen) of Batavia, IL. and David DeBlock (Anita) of St. Charles, IL; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Ava Klein; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael DeBlock, Elsie Thole and Tatum DeBlock.
