With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rose L. Araujo of Streator, Illinois, born in Toluca, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Fredericks and Frances Fredericks (Murphy); her husband Gilbert Araujo; and her siblings, Donald Fredericks and Joyce Hritz.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Martin (Craig Treschak) of Streator and Dennis Araujo (Joan) of Wentzville, Missouri; her grandchildren, Stephen Martin of Wheaton, Katie Essman (Bryan) of Ottawa, Jessica Nevels (Craig) of Wentzville and Jonathan Araujo (Kortney) of Wentzville, Missouri; her brothers, Bernard Fredericks (Joyce) of Bensenville and Raymond Fredericks (Mary Ann Martinowski) of Florida; and her sister-in-law Patty Fredericks of Streator. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
