She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Hillyer and Gertrude Hillyer (Taylor); her husband Louis Retoff; and her brothers, Jim Hillyer and Lloyd Hillyer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Carpenter (Robert) of Streator and Michelle Pottinger (Todd Carpenter) of Minonk; her grandchildren, Autumn Thomas, Jacob Carpenter, Maranda Carpenter and Coty Carpenter; her stepchildren, Dana Retoff of Streator and Stephen Retoff of Streator; and her siblings, Janet Genseke of Streator, Carol Pottinger of Streator, Glenda "Sue" Wright of Benton, Shirley Parola of Benton, Gary Hillyer (Nancy) of Long Point and David Hillyer of Lostant. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
