She was predeceased by: her parents, Varland Mayfield and Joanna Mayfield (List); her husband Gary "Soupy" Sopko; her son-in-law Alex Glisson; and her pet Buster.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Sopko of Streator; her granddaughter Vara Jo Glisson of Streator; her brothers, Jon Mayfield (Rosalie) of Bangkok and David Mayfield (Linda) of Madison, Wisconsin; and her close friends, Joan Scott and Sandy Vernon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
