He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Marshall and Rita Marshall (Zulz); his sisters-in-law, Barbara and Patricia Marshall; his niece Rebecca Curtis; and his in-laws, Charles and Phyllis Richards.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Richards; his children, Gretchen Turner (Keith Missel) and Andrew Marshall (Kelsie Allen); his grandchildren, Charlie of Streator, Ashton of Streator and Quinn of Streator; his brothers, Dave Marshall of Geneseo and Daniel Marshall of El Paso; his brothers-in-law, Jeff Richards (Julie), Brian Richards (Jeannie) and Craig Richards (Jodi); and his close friend Rick Allison of Streator.
