She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Thomson and Mignon Thomson (Elie); her husband E. Dean Bennett; and her brothers, David, Donald, Robert and Gale Thomson.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Bennett (Hilary) of LaHarpe and Denise Thompson (Eric) of LaHarpe; her grandchildren, Kayla Taylor (Jamie), Bart Thompson (Lacie) and Cole Thompson (Jenni); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Penelope, Broderick, Nolan Thompson, Abigail and Harper Taylor; and her brother Leroy Thomson (Vicki).
A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe Fire Department or the LaHarpe Ambulance.
