He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Jones and Fern Jones (Brunk); his wife Nancy Nicol; his son Douglas Eugene Jones; and his siblings, Pauline Jones, Pearl Duncan, Sybil Sloop, Betty Roderick, Carol Sheffler, Ruthie Peterson, Louise White, Darol, Harold, Tom and Bobby Jones.
He is survived by: his daughter Debara Hafemann (Scott) of Savannah, Georgia; his grandsons, John Hafemann (Tara) and Eric Hafemann (Lindsey); and his great grandchildren, Levi, Jack, Sophia and Amelia Hafemann. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
