She was predeceased by: her father LaVern Root. She is survived by: her mother Mary Short; her brothers, Danny Root of Sciota, IL, David Root of Monmouth, IL, Gary Root (Janet) of Alamo, TX and Jerry Root of Alamo, TX; her stepsisters, Kim Moeller (Bob) of Salem, IA, Theresa Short of Burlington, IA, Tammy Kuster of Burlington, IA and Angie Short of Burlington, IA; and her close friend Deborah Beam of Stronghurst. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Banks & Beals Funeral Home - Stronghurst (301 S Mary St, Stronghurst, IL 61480).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Family Outreach Community Center of Stronghurst.
