He was predeceased by: his parents, Loran Yoakum and Florence Yoakum; his former wife Deanna; his sons, Billy Yoakum and Tom Yoakum; and his brother John Yoakum.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughters, Karen Cinto (Tim) of Sugar Grove, IL and Debbie Emanuel (Jim) of Punta Gorda, FL; his grandchildren, Megan Bassett (Kenny), Erin Haeseli (Kegan), Betheney Dalbey (Tay), Matt Emanuel (Shweta), Emily Weir (Mark) and Max Emanuel; and his sisters, Loreen Popp and Mary Siebert. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Healy Chapel (370 Division Dr, Sugar Grove, IL 60554). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to either Sugar Grove United Methodist Church or the conservation, forestry or outdoor-oriented charity of their choice.
