He is survived by: his children, John McCormick of Sullivan, April Byard of Arcola and Darla Grimm (Cade) of Bethany; his grandchildren, Tim, Travis, Trevor, Alaina, Dalton, Destiny McCormick, Ashley Ramsey, Colten Wolff, Kaleb, Kanen Byard, Chloe and Jase Grimm; and his sisters, Zelma Reynolds, Ellen Hunter (Roger), Stella Harlin and Kathy Carey. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McMullin-Young Funeral Home (503 W Jackson St, Sullivan, IL 61951).
